Annual Steamship Night Dinner Gala

Our 104th Annual Steamship Night Dinner will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. This event honors the Maritime Industry and the International Trade Community.

This year’s honored speaker will be Mr. Jason Evanchik, Senior Vice President, Transportation, PVH Corporation.

Event will open Fall 2018

The Foreign Commerce Club event schedule culminates with our annual Gala that we call Steamship Night Dinner.  This event has been occurring for more than 100 years and raises money for a number of charities.  Each year we invite an Honored guest speaker from our Industry that provides us with insight into current industry events as well as a future outlook.

During the Gala we invite guest speakers from our main charities to share their story and remind us all of the power of giving.

The Gala opens with a full hour cocktail party in the Hotel lobby where we can all mingle and network and hopefully run into some faces we haven’t seen in awhile.  The event is highly attended by Steamship lines, Port Authorities, Terminal operators, Union members, Beneficial Cargo Owners, NVO’s, Freight forwarders, and other transportation providers.  Its one of the few events out there that gets everybody in one room to celebrate our industry, make new friends, and honor the people that started it all, the Steamship lines.
