The Foreign Commerce Club of New York, Inc., formed in 1914, was duly incorporated July 2, 1915, under the Membership Corporation Law of the State of New York. Its Corporate objects as set forth in the Certificate of Incorporation are: “To voluntarily bring about a better acquaintance and fellowship among those directly or indirectly interested in foreign commerce and to afford its members the advantages of lectures on transportation and enhancement of foreign commerce in all its phases”.
The Foreign Commerce Club of New York prides itself as being an active organization in the transportation industry that focusses on educational , inter-industry cooperation through networking events, and giving back through charitable donations.
Our membership includes representatives from steamship lines, freight forwarders, beneficial cargo owners, International longshoreman locals, NVO’s, Port Authorities, Terminal Operators, Railroads, and other businesses involved in international commerce in the metropolitan area.

Events include social networking hours, educational seminars, port and cargo processor tours, and our annual Steamship Night dinner where an honored speaker provides remarks on the industry’s latest happenings.
